2008 proved to be a good season for the stable with Bid For Gold, Highland Love and Flashy Max all winning two races after Hot Bertie opened our account for the campaign.
The two-year-olds all shaped with abundant promise, Secret Venue winning at Thirsk and showing a good level of form throughout the year. Big Apple Boy won at Pontefract in the autumn and then went close under a big weight in a nursery back there. Both are very good prospects.
Luna Landing was a good winner over hurdles at Musselburgh this winter and Moonwalking continues to shape well over timber, including in a warm novice hurdle at Doncaster in January.
With an exciting bunch of two-year-olds now broken in, there is much to look forward to. Stay here for updates on our progress or use our Contact Us section if you are interested in having a horse at Highbeck Stables.
